High Winds Punish Roofs

Published by Andrew Schmidt

A thunderstorm in Kearney, Nebraska caused severe damage to two University of Nebraska at Kearney buildings Monday night. High winds destroyed parts of the roofs on both the school library and theater facilities, closing both buildings until further notice. Here in the windy city, we know what high winds feel like. That’s why we at Showalter Roofing craft our own long-lasting architectural sheet metal roofs for commercial and residential buildings, on site at our Naperville, IL location.

Sheet metal roofing not only lasts longer in intense climate conditions, but also requires little maintenance and keeps warm and cooler air inside, reducing heating and cooling costs. Not to mention it adds attractiveness and value to your home or business. For more information about sheet metal roofing, click here or call Showalter Roofing at (630) 499-7700.
